Good news for residents of Linton on Ouse who have children that use the play park – we are planning some improvements and we want to hear what you think!
The Parish Council have secured over £11k in funding for improvements, and we are putting in an application for almost £27k more. We want to make the playground a great place for your children!
We want to install 6 new pieces of equipment:
- An inclusive flying saucer
- A bubble stand-in seesaw
- An inclusive springer
- A cone climber
- A vortex sturdy play unit
- A large timber climbing unit
On the 24th October, between 10.30 and 12.30 am, Parish Councillors and the playground designer from Streetscape (the company undertaking the work) will be at the playground to chat to you about the proposals, and they will have an illustration showing the new play items we hope to install. There will be a questionnaire for adults and children to fill in (please bring your own pen/ pencil for your own safety). Unless the weather is really bad we will be outside, but we may have to use the Village Hall. In either case, please let one person/ family group view the proposals at a time and observe social distancing, and unless you are exempt please wear a mask.
If you cannot make it on the 24th don’t worry, we will soon display the images on the Facebook page and on the village notice board, and you will be able to fill in the survey online. If you would like the questionnaire sent to you by email, or if you would like a hardcopy, please contact the Clerk at firstname.lastname@example.org.
